Everything on this page has to do with the life of a NICU nurse. The Neonatal intensive care unit is a special area of a hospital where newborns who are born prematurely or with medical complications are taken to be under intensive medical attention. My posts will be about all the happenings in this special area of a hospital.
There are many reasons why I am choosing to blog about this topic. However, the main reason as to why I am so interested in the NICU and am writing about it is, this is my dream. I am currently a full time student studying to get my nursing degree and once this CRAZY ride is over my final goal is to be a nurse practitioner for babies who unfortunately make there tiny little way to the NICU. I have always wanted to have a profession where I am helping people. When I went back to school I narrowed my dream profession down to I want to help little ones.
